Open Up Resources K–5 Math Centers are designed to engage students, support them in connecting conceptual and procedural understandings, and help build fluency. They can also be used to differentiate across grades and for intervention in middle school math classrooms. Join us to learn more about the structure and design of Centers, how to integrate them into units, tips for material prep and organization, and to play some games as students!

Scaffolding for Success for EL Education

In this session, participants will learn about the importance of scaffolding and how it can be used in their classrooms. They will explore different scaffolding techniques and strategies and practice using them in various learning contexts, such as providing access points to qualitatively complex texts. Participants will leave this session with a deeper understanding of scaffolding and a toolkit of strategies that they can use to support their students' learning.
