About me
Ally is a former K–8 mathematics teacher & instructional coach and served in multilingual classrooms in Denver and Aurora, CO. She used Open Up Resources 6–8 Math curriculum, teaching in some settings in both Spanish and English. Ally has also supported schools and communities in Mexico and South America, and currently lives in Playa del Carmen – her home of 5 years! She is passionate about transforming student experiences and the intersections of language, culture, and identity in mathematics teaching and learning.
