About me
Cydney is a Literacy Specialist at Open Up Resources, where she contributes to the development and refinement of high-quality ELA curriculum and internal resources. With over 17 years of experience as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and curriculum reviewer, Cydney brings a deep commitment to instructional excellence and equity in literacy education. Before joining Open Up Resources, she supported elementary educators through coaching and collaborative planning focused on evidence-based literacy practices. Outside of curriculum work, Cydney enjoys reading fantasy novels, watching her daughter compete in dance, and cheering on her son at soccer games.
