About me
Iysha is currently coaching novice and veteran educators implementing OUR ELA curricula. Serving as a Literacy and Professional Learning Specialist at Open Up Resources, Iysha ensures access to high-quality curriculum, materials, and professional learning experiences with a passion for making education equitable for all students. Before joining Open Up Resources, Iysha was a compassionate, collaborative early childhood educator teaching historically underserved Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students. Outside of the classroom and professional learning, Iysha is a certified Nutrition Coach and loves empowering people to meet their health and wellness goals. She lives in northern Maryland and enjoys watching reality tv and finding delicious recipes.
